As part of a current project, I realised that OneDrive wasn't automatically signing as previously. OneDrive itself would sit with in the notification try and it wasn't logged in.

Solution:

1. Navigate to https://portal.azure.com/ then checked under Users then search for the user affected.

2. Checked the User sign-ins (non-interactive), then filter by OneDrive Sync Engine, and there I saw it had failures.

3. Further inspection of the sign-in, it said it failed at Require MFA.

4. I checked the OneDrive Setting Catalog that was deployed.

5. Next I viewed this document: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/enable-conditional-access where it mentions to deploy this registry.

On the device, I manually created it then restarted and OneDrive automatically signed in.

6. Then viewing the Sign-ins (non-interactive), I can see that OneDrive has signed in automatically.
