(4) Getting Started with Conditional Access Terms of Use

This post will cover with setting up in the following:


- Setting up Conditional Access | Terms of Use

- Setting up Conditional Access with "Terms of Use"


Setting up Conditional Access | Terms of Use:


2. Under Search resources, services and docs, enter in: Conditional Access

3. On left hand column, you will see "Terms of Use". Click on "Terms of Use"










4. Select "New Terms", enter in the following information:

Name: Name of Terms of Use

Display Name: Display Name of Terms of Use for end users

Terms of use document: Select the "Browse" to upload a PDF followed by selecting a Language: Optional

Require users to expand the terms of use: Optional (On or Off)

Require users to consent on every device: Optional (On or Off)

Expire Consents: Optional (On or Off)

Duration before re-acceptance required days: Optional on how many days

Enforce with conditional access policy templates: Create conditional access policy later


Select "Create"

















5. Once it has been created, it is now time to create the Conditional Access Policy.


Setting up Conditional Access with "Terms of Use"

6. Select Policies, then select "New Policy"









7. Enter the following however you like.

Name:

Assignments:

Cloud apps or actions:

Conditions:


Under Access Controls, select "Grant" then select "Grant Access" with "Mr B SOE Way - Terms of Use" with "Require one of the selected controls". Once the policy has been turned on.


8. I suggest if using Google Chrome, use Incognito and test accessing https://portal.azure.com or https://portal.office.com, you will be prompted to enter your credentials followed by the "Terms of Use" policy.



If "Require users to expand the terms of use" is set as "On", you will need to click on "Terms of Use" and scroll down till to the bottom before you can click on Accept.


9. From https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/ConditionalAccessBlade/TermsOfUse you can see under the "Accepted" policies on how many times it has been Accepted.
